As the technology grows CPA will become more popular.  Tracking software is the key.  I think companies like Google really fear CPA though as it will all but eliminate click fraud which of course will lower their revenue. It's a dirty secret they keep that they are making BILLIONS from click fraud. If advertisers catch on then CPC is finished.

Yeah, I don't know why advertisers are still using CPC. CPA would pretty much guarantee advertising success, but I guess it's because there aren't enough publishers doing CPA for them to reach a wide market.

One iste oif mine regularly pulls in CPA revenue for one specific merchant. The threshold really is what is involved - is it getting paid for an email address? Easy. For a homeownership lead? Far more difficult. Hoops make it unlikely every publisher will opt into CPA when other easier forms of publishing exist.

I've always intended to start a website that included CPA ads.
Like co-registration. When they register, they are given a choice to sign up to several other programs, or to receive newsletters.
I think that would be a great and easy way to earn some money from CPA networks, but I never got around to it...
